three styles
of
NEI
JIA QUAN,
along
with
Wu Hsin
I and
Tai
Ji
Quan.
Bagua
Zhang
" The
form
of the 8 palms or Trigrams "
Bagua Zhang
is
different
from
the
other two
internal
styles in
the
footwork,
the Tao,
this is done
in a
circular
way.
It´s the
art of the
winding
movement
developed by Dong Hai
Chuan
and is
considered
the
innermost
and most
esoteric of
the three
styles.
It is based
on the
principles
of
Pakua,
the
8 Trigrams
or archetype
forms of the
physical
Universe.
The step of
Bagua Zhang
is centered
around the
cyclical
changes of
movement,
turning,
spinning,
hitting the
air with
force and
rapidity,
that is to
say, moving
in continuos
circles.
